With extensive experience in equine management, our skilled, consistent staff, including our talented barn manager Judanne, and on-site owners deliver unparalleled service and attention to detail. The Shannon family resides on the property, offering 24/7 oversight to maintain the highest standards of care and pristine facility conditions.

Proudly rooted in Dawsonville, the Shannon family—Mike, Jen, and their five children, Lily, Abby, Mikey, Violet, and Ellie—brings a personal touch to the equestrian community. Mike oversees daily operations, including horse care and pasture maintenance, while Jen, a licensed pharmacist, applies her expertise to ensure the health and well-being of our equine residents. She also manages the facility’s world-class amenities to provide an exceptional experience for our clients. The Shannon children actively contribute, offering warmth, care, and attention to the horses, creating a welcoming environment for all.

In addition to Southern Grace, the Shannon family owns and operates Lily’s Pharmacy in Johns Creek, reflecting their commitment to serving the local community.

Having acquired Southern Grace Equestrian Center from the Gallagher family in 2025, the Shannons are honored to uphold its 12-year legacy of excellence. Step into our state-of-the-art main barn, a masterpiece of equine luxury featuring 36 spacious 12x12 matted stalls, each equipped with cooling fans, pasture-view windows, and sturdy roll doors for ultimate comfort. The barn is a hub of convenience and sophistication, boasting two secure tack rooms, two enclosed feed rooms, and a pair of dedicated hot/cold horse bathing stalls. For your comfort, we’ve included a modern bathroom, a cozy kitchenette, and a utility room with a washer and dryer. Unwind or entertain on our expansive outdoor covered patio, perfect for soaking in the farm’s serene vibe. With wide, brightly lit hallways, automatic fly spray systems, insulated walls, and grand rolling barn doors, every detail is crafted for safety and style. Our secondary barn adds even more charm, housing three additional stalls, a dedicated hay room, a pine shavings room, and covered storage for tools and equipment.

Sprawling across our picturesque property, two lush 10+ acre pastures await, each with shaded shelter areas and a unique “swimming lake” for your horses to splash and play. The gated entry with cameras and owners that reside on-site provide 24/7 security and safety! For those needing a quieter retreat, our three meticulously maintained Dry Paddocks offer a cozy, controlled space for individualized care.

Equipped with adjustable jump gates and top-tier training equipment, it’s designed to strengthen the bond between horse and rider. We are pleased to offer you and your equine partner a premier lesson and training experience, combining world-class amenities with the flexibility to work with the trainer of your choice.

While we have several highly recommended trainers who regularly utilize our exceptional facilities, we also welcome outside trainers to provide personalized instruction in the familiar environment of your horse’s home.

Our state-of-the-art 110ft x 220ft arena features premium river-sand footing, advanced LED lighting, adjustable jump gates, top-tier training equipment, and a covered viewing area, all designed to meet your equestrian training needs. The arena is meticulously maintained and regularly dragged to ensure optimal comfort and functionality.
